Mission statement
The Office of Sustainability’s mission is to cultivate an environmentally responsible, efficient, and resilient campus through collaborative action, education, and stewardship of resources.
What we do
The Office of Sustainability leads campus-wide efforts to protect natural resources, reduce environmental impact, and foster a culture of stewardship. We partner with students, faculty, and staff to turn sustainability commitments into daily action across three core areas:
- Sustainable Operations: Driving energy efficiency, waste diversion, and clean energy projects across campus infrastructure.
- Campus Engagement: Organizing volunteer programs, recycling campaigns, and events to empower student leadership.
- Strategic Planning: Setting measurable goals to lower total emissions, conserve resources, and ensure long-term resilience.
