Solar Boise Green Stations

Boise Green Bike Stations are solar powered and can be found all over Boise, with a large concentration downtown and on campus. Find the nearest charging station near you.

Solar Power on Campus

Solar Charging Station

Located on the Quad in front of the Library, this station provides 15 outlets for charging electronic devices. The station includes four 160 watt solar panels on the roof with batteries for power storage and screens for promotional messaging.

Fun fact: The wood table tops were originally beams in the former Applied Technology Building and were recovered before the building was demolished.

Solar Parking Pay Stations

Transportation and Parking Services is dedicated to making sustainable upgrades wherever possible, such as incorporating solar power to parking pay stations.

Solar Electric Vehicle Stations

Boise State is working to replace older and run-down fleet vehicles with Electric Vehicles, and a variety of different electric vehicle charging stations are scattered throughout campus. Two cars can charge on the first floor of the Lincoln Garage and two on Bronco Circle.

Boise State’s MBEB was built with a variety of Green features.
