Local Service Project: Hillside to Hollow Reserve Sagebrush Restoration

November 29 @ 2:30 pm - 5:00 pm

Join us as we collect and plant sagebrush seed at Hillside to Hollow Reserve! Wild land seeds are collected to help regrow plants in areas where land has been disturbed and the native flora has been damaged or destroyed. The native shrub also provides food and cover benefits for animals, and like other deep-rooted plants, sagebrush helps stabilize soils, reducing erosion. We will meet on campus in front of the east entrance to the Student Union at 2:30pm (right on Bronco Lane at the parking meters) and travel to the Hillside to Hollow trailhead, located at 2630 N Harrison Hollow Lane.
