What is the ambitious goal of this project?
This VIP will help students develop confidence in handling and running animal related research in graduate/medical schools and their career in industry or others. Practical hands-on skills in biomedical research will be taught for students to utilize in their career.
Experience Gained
Trained students can utilize the hands-on skills related to animal-based biomedical neuroscience techniques from this VIP series in their career. The experience and skills from the courses will be a great foundation for them to develop further skills and cutting-edge techniques for their career development in industry, graduate/medical schools and other research fields.

For the 200 level, BIOL191 and BIOL227 are encouraged, but not required.
For the 400 level, BIOL117 or NEURO200 is required as a pre-requisite course.

VIP 200, VIP 400 or VIP 500
Full semester course. Choose to enroll in 1 or 2 credits.
