VIP Coach Information
Lisa Brady (PhD) is an environmental historian who studies the ways war and nature shape each other, with specialties in the American Civil War and the Korean War. Her current project explores the Korean DMZ as an environmental, military, and scientific landscape.
April VanDeGrift is an artist, illustrator, and arts educator from Boise. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in illustration & painting in 2008 and her Master of Fine Arts in studio arts from Boise State University in 2014. VanDeGrift has shown work in varies galleries, completed murals, illustrated for books, designed public artwork, created posters, and designed logos in the Treasure Valley, Washington State, and abroad. Her work has been collected by the City of Boise Department of Arts and History, Boise City mayor’s office, the College of Idaho, the College of Western Idaho and other institutions and private collectors.
