What is the Axiom Budgeting System?
The Axiom Budgeting System is a software solution, primarily for organizations like higher education, that streamlines and automates the budgeting, planning and forecasting process. It integrates data from HCM and OFC (Bronco Hub) and provides tools for workflow management, scenario analysis and reporting.
Axiom Licenses & Access
Do I need an Axiom license to access the system?
Yes, only employees with a Read/Write or Read Only license can access the Axiom Budgeting System.
How do I access the Axiom Budgeting System?
Contact your Campus Implementation Partner (CIP) for your area. Currently, there are a limited number of licenses available. Your CIP will determine if there is a business need for your request.
Submitting a Budget Adjustment
What’s the difference between BTT (base transfer) and OTT (one time transfer)?
A base transfer (adjustment) affects funding for future fiscal years by impacting the ongoing annual budget amount starting in the next fiscal year. A one time transfer (adjustment) is an adjustment that moves the budget in the current fiscal year. This affects only the current fiscal year’s funding and does not change the base permanent budget.
How do I delete a budget adjustment not yet submitted?
Contact your Campus Implementation Partner (CIP) for your area. Currently, there are a limited number of licenses available. Your CIP will determine if there is a business need for your request.
Approving in Axiom
How can I see the Axiom budget adjustment approval workflow?
Please refer to the “Axiom Budget Adjustments” tab in the Standard Approval Workflow Matrix to view the department approvers.
Can I delegate approval of budget adjustments to someone else if I’m out for a period of time?
The Axiom system doesn’t have the ability to delegate. If you’re part of the approval workflow and you plan to be out for a period of time, you will need to notify the budgetandplanning@boisestate.edu so we can update the approval workflow while you’re out.
How come I’m getting notifications to approve a budget adjustment I just submitted?
If you are in the approval workflow, the system doesn’t skip the approval step even if you are a submitter. You still need to approve the budget adjustment.
