DubBot is our new web governance platform

Boise State is transitioning to DubBot as our new web governance platform, replacing Acquia Web Governance.

DubBot helps website admins and content creators identify issues such as broken links, misspellings, and web accessibility errors. The platform supports ongoing website maintenance by making it easier to find and resolve problems that can affect usability, content quality, and digital accessibility compliance.

The move to DubBot gives us greater flexibility in assessing university websites and applications that live outside of our central WordPress content management system, providing a broader reach to supporting compliance and policy requirements.

DubBot also offers a simplified interface that is intended to make the platform more approachable for our university web community. Although previous tools offered a wide range of features, the vast majority of our WordPress content authors need a solution that is easy to navigate and quick to use. DubBot helps website owners and contributors focus on the most important issues, including broken links, misspellings, and basic accessibility compliance.
