The Korea Foundation has awarded a grant for the 2020-21 year to Yookyung Lee, adjunct instructor of Korean in the Department of World Languages and faculty advisor of the Korean Club, and Jason Herbeck, professor of French and chair of the Department of World Languages.<\/p>\n

The grant will allow the Department of World Languages to offer a new three-credit course, Korean Culture and Civilization, in the fall semester. The department also will expand an existing one-credit Korean-Pop Culture and Society workshop to a three-credit course to be offered in spring 2021.<\/p>\n
