Ateak Ireki means \u201copen doors\u201d in the Basque language, Euskara. The Ateak Ireki program is an opportunity for young people from the Basque diaspora in the United States to live, learn and experience real life in the Basque Country today. This three-week program is possible as Basque families, communities and cooperatives of the Goierri Valley are opening their doors in hopes of strengthening the relationships between the Basque Country and the Basque communities in the USA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
