Melanie Figueroa Zavala
Associate Vice President of Inclusive Excellence
Associate Vice President of Inclusive Excellence Melanie Figueroa Zavala is majoring in Global Studies with an emphasis on World Cultures and a minor in Critical Theory. Melanie is originally from Guanajuato, Mexico, has lived in Idaho for the past nine years, and is currently a Junior at Boise State. After college Melanie hopes to continue with graduate school and pursue a career in international affairs. In her free time, Melanie enjoys traveling and learning about language and culture. Feel free to reach out to Melanie with any questions about the IESC and Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion work on campus.

Jasmine Reyes
Inclusive Excellence Student Council Member
Jasmine is a third-year Gaming Interactive Media Mobile student. She is excited to be working with the IESC on projects promoting diversity and inclusion. She has had prior experience with ASBSU serving as a senator for the College of Innovation and Design.

Amelia Jobe
Inclusive Excellence Student Council Member
Amelia is a second year student majoring in Computer Science with a minor in Gender Studies. This is Amelia’s second year being a part of ASBSU. During the Fall 2021 semester, Amelia served as a first year representative in the general assembly, and in the Spring 2022 semester Amelia served as an Inclusive Excellence Student Council Member. They are excited to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts on campus and work to make every student feel welcome. Off campus, Amelia enjoys cooking, playing board games with loved ones, and hanging out with their cat Pablo.
