New Online Mentoring Program Seeks Volunteers

Broncos Supporting Broncos

BroncoLink is a new online mentoring platform where parents, alumni, and friends can connect with current students and provide mentoring.

Boise State is fortunate to have an active group of alumni and friends who are always willing to offer advice, support, encouragement, and connections to current students. BroncoLink connections may include short, one-off questions, or could develop into a mentoring relationship. The program goal is to develop a large network of alumni and friends who can easily share their knowledge, experiences, and advice with students via a digital platform.

As a parent, you can support this program in two ways:

  1. Encourage your student to register for BroncoLink and use it! Help your student understand the value of making connections early on in their college experience and getting advice from those who have been in their shoes or are in fields they are interested in. Mentoring or networking can be daunting words for students. Your encouragement might be what it takes to get them to take a look at BroncoLink.
  2. Do you have professional advice to offer about career paths, fields, industries, and companies? Are you willing to help a Boise State student make connections in a particular geographic location? You can sign up to be a mentor on BroncoLink. We want to expand our network of mentors and an on-line platform allows us to connect with mentors both local and out of the area.

You can sign up to become a mentor or your student can log onto BroncoLink at: https://broncolink.peoplegrove.com/

If you have any questions about BroncoLink or would like to connect with the Career Center, call (208)426-1747 or email career@boisestate.edu.
