A group 12 COBE students studied abroad this summer, taking Management Accounting for Business Processes, taught in Singapore by accountancy professor, Michael Lee. The group traveled to Nanyang Technological University, a world-ranked university, to understand differences in culture and its impact on business processes for three weeks. They learned from case studies, high-profile guest speakers and visited key Singaporean businesses. With Asia’s strong economic presence, it’s become increasingly important for business majors to understand international processes to create and sustain working relationships. While abroad, the students had the chance to interact and network with other students abroad, business professionals and international companies. These interactions developed friendships as well as business connections.
The program received rave reviews from the students.
