Dr. William Radasky, President and Managing Engineer of Metatech, is our featured speaker for the September 27 seminar. His presentation will cover two high-power electromagnetic threats to the electronics operating large power grids. The threats include the high-altitude electromagnetic pulse (HEMP) that is generated by the detonation of a nuclear burst in space, and the second threat comes from new high-power electromagnetic weapons that can produce high-level transients that can disrupt or damage nearby electronics (IEMI). The presentation focuses on protection from these threats.
