Return to Campus

Help keep campus safe and open

If you feel sick, test positive for COVID or think you may have been exposed, call the public health team at (208) 426-2968, or email publichealth@boisestate.edu. A team member will help you determine next steps on campus.

We've Got This Covered

COVID has disrupted life in every corner of the globe. We are committed to doing all we can as a university to minimize the spread of the virus and its traumatic consequences, but it will take the work of everyone on campus to pull this off. It may sound like a lot to ask, but we are Broncos — and we care about each other and our community. In the end, it comes down to four major efforts:

  • We all have to wear facial coverings throughout campus — inside and, when continuous distancing isn’t possible, outside. The guidance from public health experts is clear: even homemade cloth masks can help fight the spread of COVID-19.
  • We all have to stay at least six feet away from each other whenever possible. Seating in classrooms and labs will be adjusted. We all have to use in-doors and out-doors, and watch for signs directing foot traffic in busy areas.
  • We have to stay extra clean. Wash your hands. Avoid touching your face. When you take your mask off, only touch the ear straps. Clean your shared spaces.
  • And we have to pay close attention to our own symptoms. Absences will be expected and excused. We will be flexible with you as you get caught up.

Take the Bronco Pledge for Public Health

Boise State students, faculty and staff are asked to watch a safety video and pledge to do their part to keep campus healthy and open.

Students who need to isolate or quarantine due to COVID can access a wide range of resources.
