Unoccupied Aerial Systems at Boise State mini-symposium April 6

Interested in discussing how to expand the drone community at Boise State? Join Human Environment-Systems and the Department of Physics for a mini-symposium to bring together Unoccupied Aerial Systems (UAS) users at Boise State and beyond.

The event will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 6 in the CI+D Innovation Incubator Space (2nd floor of Albertsons Library), with the option to join remotely. Light refreshments and lunch will be provided.

Register for the event by March 23 to attend.

The event will feature research lightning talks, collaborative break-out groups, opportunities for informal poster presentations and equipment show-and-tell.

Planned break-out group topics include:

  • Grants for UAS-based research and education
  • Developing partnerships with other academic programs, industry partners, and government agencies
  • Needs on campus: open practice time, monthly speakers, UAS student club, a drone library

A working agenda for the day has been posted.
