Delivery:

Virtual Platform – Access to webcam is required. Full attendance during synchronous activities is required for certificate of completion.

Continuing Education and Credentialing:

This course is available for 6 NBCC CE hours and meets IBOL’s requirements for supervision credential renewal. Please note that full digital attendance is required to receive certificate of completion.

Course and Instructor Details

Dr. Regina Moro, LPC, Assistant Professor, Department of Counselor Education and Dr. Laura Gallo, LPC, Assistant Professor, Department of Counselor Education will lead this training.

In the morning session, participants will review best practices in supervision, including reflection on supervisors’ wellness, supervisory models, and administrative protocols, 

In the afternoon session, participants will learn more about applying strategies for fostering supervisee growth including case study examples. Participants will also learn more about managing complex supervision challenges with opportunities for collaboration and discussion.

1) Evaluate supervisor’s mental well-being practices
2) Compare supervisory approaches and administrative protocols
3) Identify ways to measure effectiveness of supervision
4) Apply new strategies for fostering supervisee growth
5) Manage complex supervision challenges
