Early Childhood Emerging Leaders Program

The Emerging Leaders program offers a unique pathway through the MEd in Early and Special Education program with a focus on early childhood education, leadership in the field, and applied action research.

This program focuses on supporting emerging leaders in early childhood education to obtain a Master of Education degree with full tuition support through Idaho STARS over a three year period.

Early childhood educators who are working at least 19 hours/week directly with young children may be eligible for an Emerging Leaders scholarship through Idaho STARS. Idaho STARS scholarships are designed to increase levels of education, reduce turnover and increase wages for the early childhood workforce. The scholarship covers tuition for early care and education staff seeking an early childhood degree at an Idaho college or university.

The Master of Education in Early and Special Education program is 100% online.
