[Heather Williams, Assistant Professor, EdS Program Coordinator]: This event is important because it allows our students to share their expertise. Each of them have studied a district or state-level an issue that they believe requires intervention. This symposium allows them to share their findings and their research. And each of them, as they go on in their practice, most of them will be practitioners. It’s important for them to have that foundation as researchers.
