Need a little extra help with a project or assignment for one of your GIMM classes? We have Peer Mentors who are willing to assist you.

Peer Mentors and Open Lab hours are available in-person (on campus) during the following days and times for the Fall 2023 semester:

• Fridays: 12:00pm – 5:00pm, the Alienware lab classroom is available for use
• Saturdays: 12:00pm – 5:00pm, both lab classrooms are available for use

Academic advising is available to help GIMM students achieve their educational goals. Advising sessions can assist students with:

• Adding a minor or certificate to complement the degree
• Career Exploration
• Connecting students to: Tutors, Academic Coaches, and Mentors
• Course selection: add/drop/withdrawal
• Non-Academic issues
• University policies and procedures
• And much more!

Equipment is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Options for equipment check-outs are as follows:

1. Work with Peer Mentors for equipment check-out
2. Contact your faculty member for equipment check-out during class time
3. Contact Jeanne Hansen at gimm@boisestate.edu for equipment check-out. You can also come and speak with her on campus on Fridays from 8:00am – 4:00pm

Ready for graduation?

Follow the steps below before your final semester:

1. Meet with your advisor to review your Academic Advisement Report (AAR).
2. Enroll in all courses for your final semester.
3. Apply for graduation in Student Center (for instructions click here).  NOTE: The application deadline is the end of the first week of the semester you intend to graduate (see the Academic Calendar for the exact date).
4. Visit the Registrar’s website here for additional commencement and graduation information.
