Early Arrival — Groups
Early arrival is available for members of the following groups:
- Athletics (All requests must come through the Athletics Compliance Department)
- Blue Thunder Marching Band
- College Assistance Migrant Program
- Honors Peer Mentors
- International Students
If you are not an approved participant of one of the groups listed above, you may apply for early arrival under the following circumstances:
You have a compelling reason for needing to be on campus before Move-In Day, for which you can provide a detailed explanation and documentation.
You have a job or internship on campus that requires you to start before Move-In Day (your Supervisor will need to provide verification).

How do I apply for early arrival?
We will be accepting Fall early arrival requests from July 1 through August 11 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Early move-in isn’t available for the spring semester.

Charges for arriving early
You will be charged the daily rate of your Fall room assignment from the date you move in until Move-In Day (Wednesday, August 20 or Thursday, August 21).
