Accelerated Master’s Program
Through this program, a Math or Applied Math major can obtain both a BS and MS degree in just 5 years. Here are just some ways the program supports your success:
- You can count 6 credits (2 courses) towards both your BS and MS
- You can apply for teaching and research assistantships for the 5th year

Eligibility
You are eligible to apply for the Accelerated Master’s Program if:
- You are a Math or Applied Math major, with 75 credits
- You have taken MATH 314 before your senior year
- You have a minimum GPA of 3.0 overall and 3.3 in mathematics courses
Application Process
Applications are due May 15 (before the beginning of your senior year). Applications should be submitted to the Math graduate program. Your application should include:
- A personal statement of 1–2 pages
- Your résumé
- Three letters of recommendation
- Your college transcript(s)
