Micron Chip Camp Registration

Micron’s Chip Camp is coming to Boise State University! Join us for a hands-on, exciting STEM adventure for incoming 7th and 8th grade students! This three-day camp offers a unique opportunity to explore the world of semiconductor manufacturing and engineering.

At Micron Chip Camp, students will get to:

  • Take a tour of Micron to see firsthand how memory chips are made
  • Dive into advanced circuitry and coding challenges
  • Explore engineering, physics, chemistry, and computer science through fun, interactive activities
  • Meet and be mentored by Micron engineers, as well as Boise State University Engineering and STEM Education students
  • Work in Boise State’s MakerLab, Engineering Innovation Studio, learn about the IML Cleanroom, and more!

Whether you’re curious about the tech behind your favorite devices or eager to dive into engineering, Chip Camp is the place for you to learn, create, and have fun!

  • One day will be on Micron’s campus

Times: 9:00AM-4:00PM

Session 1: June 2-4, 2026
Session 2: June 16-18, 2026

No cost!

*Camps fill quickly, and enrollment is offered on a first-come, first-served basis.


Please note: Micron Chip Camp is open to incoming 7th and 8th graders. To give as many students as possible the opportunity to participate, those who have previously attended are not eligible.
