Admission, Auditions and Scholarships
Any Boise State student is eligible to receive a scholarship from the Department of Music pending audition scores, participation, and GPA. Additionally, any student can participate in our ensembles — regardless of major. We have students from nearly every department on campus that continue to play their instrument or sing! While some ensembles merely require a placement audition, our top ensembles require an audition for entry.
If you want to major or minor in music, you must complete a separate audition to be accepted into the department.
