Neil Carter co-authored an article recently published in Nature, Ecology and Evolution magazine. The article, titled “The contribution of predators and scavengers to human well-being,” makes the case that predators and scavengers vilified for their predation on livestock and property may in fact be allies to humans – and that their declining populations could have a negative affect on the human populations with whom they coexist.
