Grace Tuttle was a featured speaker for a “MacMillan Learning International Day of Women and Girls in Science” webinar on Feb. 21 as a “Women in STEM Superstar.”
The webinar focused on creating a faculty learning community (FLC) at Boise State to support active learning. During the webinar, Tuttle discussed the “why” behind creating faculty learning communities, what one should hope to accomplish from an FLC, and how an FLC can aid in encouraging active learning in the classroom.
