Alessandro Meregaglia published an article in the Fall 2017 issue of Pacific Northwest Quarterly. Titled “The Sawtooth-Salmon Touring Company and the Effort to Create Sawtooth National Park,” the piece explores the history of the early 20th-century effort to create a national park in Idaho’s Sawtooth mountains. The article relies on a scarce pamphlet promoting tourism in the region that Special Collections and Archives recently acquired.
