Matthew May is quoted in an Idaho Falls Post Register story on the 2018 Idaho Republican gubernatorial primary.
“Fulcher Country and Otter Country” compares the results, on a county-by-county basis, of Russ Fulcher’s 2014 gubernatorial campaign to those of Raúl Labrador in 2018. May said Fulcher was wise to withdraw from the gubernatorial race to instead pursue a congressional seat.
“The quick take was that Labrador and Fulcher would split the far right faction of the party,” May said.
