Michelle Belknapp,Easter Seals-Goodwill president/CEO; Kevin Israel, Housing and Residence Life assistant director for facilities operations; and Shanna Endow, Easter Seals-Goodwill retail donation manager.Under the leadership of Kevin Israel, assistant director for Facilities Operations, Housing and Residence Life, staff members have worked closely with Goodwill to place donation bins throughout the residential communities (inside and outside buildings) where students can donate their unwanted items as they are moving out. Staff have communicated this donation opportunity to both residents and their families through email and newsletters to ensure every student knows there is a place for their unwanted possessions.
Over the past few years, the relationship between Housing and Residence Life and Goodwill has moved beyond the On-Campus Housing Move-out event to the donation of other items including furniture and electronics in compliance with the State of Idaho donation guidelines. These donations help support the local chapter of Goodwill, which increases their ability to impact the greater Boise community.
