Information Design and Data Visualization Librarian Ellie Dworak will host a library colloquium on PlumX Metrics at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 28 at Albertsons Library, room 201C.
Dworak will explain PlumX and how its data works with the Integrated Impact Indicator (I3) to provide departmental level benchmarks for faculty in describing their impact for tenure, promotion and other uses.
PlumX Metrics provides insights into the ways people interact with individual pieces of research output (articles, book chapters, etc.) in the online environment (tweets, news mentions, etc.). Collectively known as PlumX Metrics, these metrics are divided into five categories: usage, captures, mentions, social media and citations.
