Intensive English Program Seeks Short-term Host Families

A group of 20 graduate students from Taiwan will travel to Boise in the spring of 2019. They will stay for eight weeks to complete a program in international business and serve internships with local companies.

Boise State’s Intensive English Program is looking for Boise State staff and faculty members to serve as hosts from March 30-May 25, 2019.

The students range in age from 25-40. They are bilingual in English and Chinese, and are eager to learn about American life by living in a family setting.

Hosts will need to attend an orientation in March. They must be able to provide a private bedroom, meals, internet access, transportation assistance and more for the graduate students. Hosts will receive a $200 weekly stipend to help with expenses.
