Lynn Lubamersky, associate professor of history, presented a four-session course, “Poland in the 20th Century through Film,” at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute during the month of April. Drawing upon films, stories and scholarly articles, this course explored various perspectives of Polish history and discussed themes of nationalism and multiculturalism, tragedy and triumph, and oppression and liberation.
