The campus community is invited to celebrate Drew Jossis’ retirement at a reception from 2-4 p.m. Friday, May 3, in the Student Union Building Berquist Lounge. Snacks and refreshments will be provided.
Jossis has worked at Boise State for more than 10 years, during which time he has provided support, administration and expertise for instructional technologies, primarily the Blackboard learning management system. During his time at Boise State, Jossis has had an immense positive impact on how the university supports and manages the system, which in turn has impacted the faculty and students who use it regularly.
During a time of rapid growth in both online learning as well as the use of technology for on campus instruction, Jossis has been instrumental in major upgrades, enhancements and even a recent move to “The Cloud.”
Jossis will be missed for his expertise, his commitment to providing excellent service and his good nature. Come wish him well on Friday, May 3, as he begins this next chapter. After 4 p.m. the campus community is invited to join him at Payette Brewing, 733 S. Pioneer St. in Boise.
