Ross Burkhart, professor of political science in the School of Public Service and director of the Ph.D. program in Public Policy and Administration, gave a presentation on the topic of “Learning about Canada from an American Perspective” at the Canada Relations Committee meeting held during the Council of State Governments West 72nd annual conference in Big Sky, Montana, July 18. The conference attendees are primarily state legislators. The presentation covered recent demographic trends in Canada, as well as a discussion of the structure and historical evolution of Canadian government.
