Gautam Basu Thakur, an associate professor of English, delivered an invited talk Nov. 4 at Colorado College. Basu Thakur was invited and hosted by the college’s film and media studies program as one of their speakers for their fall 2019 Visiting Series in Film and Culture.
Basu Thakur’s talk focused on his current research project on re-evaluating Frantz Fanon’s writings about race, fantasy and social relations in the context of the global present.
