Emily Wakild attends conference on animal history

Emily Wakild, a professor of history and program director of environmental studies in the School of Public Service, attended the invited conference, Traces of the Animal Past: Methodological Challenges in Animal History, at York University and the Archives of Ontario, Canada.

The conference brought together historians from Canada, the U.S., South Africa and Europe for a two-day exchange of ideas. Wakild presented and contributed an essay titled “What’s a Guanaco?
