Michael Blain, a professor of sociology, presented two co-authored papers with Angeline Kearns Blain to a session on the Irish in America, American Conference on Irish Studies-West Oct. 10-12 in Portland, Oregon.
The themes of the papers were “The Anglo-Irish Imperial Tradition” and “The Anglo-Irish of Bandon, Oregon.” In addition, he co-chaired a session on “Gender and Women’s Rights in the Law and Literature.”
