The Washington Post’s Monkey Cage published a co-authored analysis article by Michael Allen, an associate professor in the School of Public Service. The article is titled “Trump wants South Korea and Japan to pay more for defense.” In it, Allen and his co-authors use their latest research to contextualize President Donald Trump’s latest demand that Japan and South Korea pay more for hosting U.S. troops. The article is co-authored with two professors from Kansas State University, Michael Flynn and Carla Martinez Machain.
