Students can sign up for Invent for the Planet Feb. 14-16

Invent for the Planet
Student teams invent solutions for international problems.

Invent for the Planet is a 48-hour Intensive Design Experience (IDE) that engages students at different universities around the world on a single weekend to solve high impact, global problems. Invent for the Planet will be held/hosted in more than 26 universities across the globe simultaneously; at Boise State it is being hosted by the Venture College. Each student group will start on Friday, Feb. 14. New groups will join the race to innovation as time travels across the world.

This competition is free and open to all Boise State undergrad and graduate students, regardless of major. Register here.

Invent for the Planet is an excellent opportunity to work with different students across campus utilizing design thinking to solve some of the most pressing issues facing our planet. Students will work on teams over the weekend to create solutions, prototype those solutions, and then pitch their ideas to a panel of judges.
