Students are facing food and housing insecurity at colleges and universities across the country, including here at Boise State. In addition to food drives, campus pantries and other resources, Boise State has established strategic working groups to address these pressing issues.
The communications group currently is recruiting members who can lead the development of a marketing plan and campaign to raise awareness, organize resources online and in print, and de-stigmatize these issues.
Individuals interested in joining the communications group or another working group should contact Jessie Dexter at jessiedexter@boisestate.edu. Although working groups are a volunteer commitment, employees can clock their time with supervisor’s approval.
