Call for student nominees for student conduct process board positions

The Office of the Dean of Students is recruiting students to serve as members of the Boise State Student Conduct Board for the 2020-21 academic year. Faculty and staff are encouraged to nominate students for the board; to nominate a student, please fill out a brief student conduct board nomination form.

When students are alleged to have violated the Student Code of Conduct, board members are a crucial part of the decision-making process who review evidence, engage in deliberation, help ensure due process for students, and contribute to efforts to uphold the well-being and integrity of the Boise State community.

Students are needed for both academic misconduct and non-academic misconduct board positions. These include the Academic Sanctioning Board and Conduct Hearing Board, which convene when students have engaged in severe or pervasive behavior, and the Appeal Board, which reviews student appeals related to academic and non-academic misconduct conduct decisions.

Nominations will be accepted through July 31.Questions can be directed to srr@boisestate.edu.
