Idaho’s May 19 primary election will be conducted by absentee ballot

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the May 19 Idaho primary election will be conducted by mail-in absentee ballot only. This means there will be no voting on campus – or at any traditional in-person polling location – on May 19.

Voters can request an absentee ballot that reflects the party of their choice at https://idahovotes.gov/vote-early-idaho/ or by contacting their local county clerk. Voters must request ballots by May 19. Once the ballot arrives, simply fill it out and mail it back using the pre-addressed envelope. The deadline to return the ballots is 9 p.m. June 2.
