Idaho’s May 19 primary election will be conducted by absentee ballot

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the May 19 Idaho primary election will be conducted by mail-in absentee ballot only. This means there will be no voting on campus – or at any traditional in-person polling location – on May 19.

Voters can request an absentee ballot that reflects the party of their choice at or by contacting their local county clerk. Voters must request ballots by May 19. Once the ballot arrives, simply fill it out and mail it back using the pre-addressed envelope. The deadline to return the ballots is 9 p.m. June 2.
