Celebrate science with the Virtual Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair

The Virtual Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) is happening May 18-22. The free event is open to the entire scientific and engineering community. Please join and share this invitation with colleagues, friends and family.

The Society for Science and the Public unveiled the full schedule of panels, with amazing speakers from MacArthur Fellow Elissa Hallem to CRISPR-cas9 co-creator Feng Zhang, Nobel Laureate Elizabeth Blackburn, and National Medal of Technology and Innovation winner Cato Laurencin.

The schedule of panelists include:

  • Four Nobel Laureates
  • Four Academy of Engineering Inductees
  • Three National Academy of Science Inductees
  • Three Marconi Prize Winners
  • Two MacArthur Fellows
  • 17 Alumni

Attendees also can check out research done by the Regeneron ISEF 2020 finalists by visiting the Finalist Exhibit Hall. The 1,255 finalists completed 1,030 projects across 21 project categories, including biochemistry, environmental engineering, robotics and intelligent machines. The finalists come from 55 countries, regions and territories, and 44 states. In addition, 601 are female.

The ISEF Commons is home to dozens of colleges and universities, where anyone can learn about college admissions in the current climate. Visitors can learn more about what each school has to offer in addition to connecting with admissions officials.

The STEM Experiential Hall will feature interactive and immersive experiences in a variety of disciplines that participants will be able to access over the internet. For instance, take a virtual stroll on Mars, see museum exhibits, dive the Great Barrier Reef, play STEM games and watch live streams of animals around the world.
