Career Services hosted Career Launch Week June 8-12, focusing on webinars and information sessions about job searching during uncertain times.
Highlights included a panel of recession-era (‘09-’10) graduates of Boise State, an in-depth discussion on job search strategies, resume and interviewing workshops, and a virtual check-in with employers from across the Treasure Valley. Students and alumni who attended also were provided the opportunity to opt-in to take the Gallup Strengths Finder assessment free of charge to help them gain more personal insight and leverage their strengths as they search for jobs.
Career Services appointments are still available; staff encourage recent graduates and current students to reach out.
