Saleh Ahmed selected as Hearst Foundations Environmental Health Scholar

Saleh Ahmed, an assistant professor in the School of Public Service, has been selected as a Hearst Foundations Environmental Health Scholar through a pilot initiative with The Conversation US. This initiative is designed to help empower scholars, particularly those at the beginning of their careers, to become lifelong public voices at the intersection of environment and health. It will take place in the fall and winter of 2020, and will provide training and mentoring in communicating research to the public, including an opportunity to write for The Conversation US. Scholar’s research is focused on issues that connect environmental challenges and/or solutions with public health.
