Since the pandemic suspended traditional live performances, creative troupes have had to come up with new ways to share their work. Idaho Dance Theatre is among them, presenting a video performance of Transcend- To Rise Above the Limits.
University Television Productions videotaped the performance in the Special Events Center in November.
“These are challenging times, but doing this project, immersing ourselves in creativity, has been tremendously rewarding. With the hard work and dedication of so many people, we are able to reach out to you, our audience in a manner unlike any before, providing an experience that goes beyond physical and cultural boundaries,” said Marla Hansen, IDT artistic director.
