An online event at 6 p.m. on Jan. 28 will feature panelists from the Intermountain Bird Observatory (IBO), Micron Technology and Warner Construction/River Design Group discussing progress on the IBO’s side-channel project.
The project, built at the IBO’s Diane Moore Nature Center off Highway 21 in East Boise, will open a new area to river flow, providing habitat for fish and other wildlife. The project, supported by Micron, will improve water quality and mitigate flooding. The City of Boise also provided a grant for trails and other amenities.
Tickets are free. Register to attend here.
