Davis-Johnson presents at CIO IT consortium conference

Max Davis-Johnson, AVP and CIO, Office of Information Technology, presented at the virtual WestNet CIO 2021 conference on Jan. 22.

Davis-Johnson’s presentation, “What Changes are Enduring? Recovering from a Pandemic,” discussed three possible scenarios for higher education information technology organization recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic:

  1. Restore: Focus on getting back to where we were prior to the pandemic
  2. Evolve: Focus on adapting to the “new normal”
  3. Transform: Focus on redefining our institution and creating the future of higher ed

Davis-Johnson also presented these topics in a recent “Max’s Minute” video for the Boise State community.

WestNet is a consortium of higher education institutions in Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming focusing on collaborating and sharing information and ideas about network and systems operations.
