Graduate College awards ceremony recognizes accomplished Broncos

On April 22, Boise State’s Graduate College celebrated graduate student achievement and faculty excellence at a virtual awards ceremony.

Twenty-two students received recognition for their excellence in the Graduate Student Showcase. Two Presidential Scholars were named. Eight received the Dean’s Award, five students were honored for their performances in the three separate Three Minute Thesis (3MT) competitions, and two faculty were recognized with the Graduate College Excellence in Graduate Mentoring Award, as well as two Honorable Mentions. A total of $7,800 was awarded.

“I am so incredibly proud of our graduate students and our faculty mentors, “said Graduate College Dean Tammi Vacha-Haase. “Despite a year characterized with many hardships and challenges, including a sharp departure from our normal university life, graduate students at Boise State University remained dedicated!
