Greg Hampikian, a professor of biology, and Ernie Ogden, a laboratory biologist, were interviewed in their lab for an Idaho Statesman article about analyzing wastewater to look for spikes in local COVID-19 infections.
The City of Boise has been screening wastewater since May, 2020 but is in the process of moving the testing from an out of state lab to Hampikian’s lab, the story says.
