Nere Lete, professor of Basque in the Department of World Languages, published her latest translation, “Jenisjoplin,” through the University of Nevada, Reno, Center for Basque Studies Press, which specializes in publishing Basque literature in translation and Basque culture related scholarly work in English.
“Jenisjoplin,” a novel by Uxue Alberdi, author and improvisational poet, is the 2017 Winner of the Academia Saria 111 (Readers’ Choice) award.
